Hemp seed contains a huge amount of nutrients, essential fatty acids and more than twenty different minerals. It is a very complete source of protein, many essential amino acids and essential fatty acids. Hemp has a protein content of 35%. Toasted hemp is a tremendous attractive additive. The hemp is heated (toasted), and thereby the digestibility is improved. It has a very strong smell. Toasted hemp also provides a coarse structure in mixes.
